Feel Good Moment of the Day (not really)

This morning, as I was getting the kids breakfast, I had both kids yelling at me.
"Mom! I want marshemello matties!
"Mom! I need a spoon!"
"Mom! I need a cup!"
"Mom! I changed my mind and want frosted flakes instead!"
"Mom! I need more drink!"

Frustrated I said "C'mon guys! Quit yelling! I'm doing the best I can!"

Jace's response ..."Well, mom, your best is really bad!"

Thanks kid. If it would have come from anyone older than a two year old, I might have felt bad. But it was kind of funny.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUST!!!
I know this is a couple days early, but since I don't know if I'll get on the computer from now until then,
then I thought I'd post something right now.
I just want to wish my cute hubby a happy birthday. I don'tknow what I would do without you in my life!! Thank you for everything you do!!

Look at that cute little boy!!

Sleepovers

Just thought I'd post a picture from last weekends sleepover. Dreyton and Zach always have so much fun with each other. Jace thinks that he is as old as the other two, and thank goodness they are nice enough to letting him tag along.
Jace still calls his colors by names (Greg means yellow, Murry means red, Antony means blue....) and Zach didn't know this, so when Jace said "Is dat Greg car faster than the Murry one?" Zach looked at Jace in amazement and said "Wow! He knows baby spanish!?!" I thought it was so funny.

Another Year

Thought I'd make a quick update. We spent New Years Eve in Delta and had so much fun! We stayed up late playing games, talking and laughing. It is always so fun to get together with family!
The boys were sooo excited to get a Delta sweatshirt from G & G Rowley. And they were even more excited to get some hunting boots! I am wondering what they are going to do when summer roll around. I'm sure they will still be wearing them with their shorts.

My cute little nieces, Megan and Abby.
Here is an action shot of Megan jumping into Abby's arms.

2009!! Welcoming in the new Year!

Brooklyn is so dang cute. Everyone loves to make her smile!

A shot of the Larsen cousins that were able to come. Of course Jace is crying for the picture. 10 seconds before and after the picture he was all smiles.
How cute! Grandpa Rowley showing D and Jace how to use his new scope (is that what it is called?)
A shot of the Rowley cousins. It wasn't easy, but we did it. Grandma Rowley holding them in on one side and Dustin on the other.

It Came and Went....Way to Fast.

We had such a Great Christmas!! We've had some very memorable Christmas's in the past, but this one has to be one of the best! It wasn't because of the material 'things' either, it was just such a magical Christmas. Watching the boys was so much fun! I wish I could freeze them at the age they are at right now. I think this is the first time that I am sad to see the season end. I think we should have Christmas at least twice a year, just to remind us about what is most important. I am soooo blessed to have such a geat family. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have the life that I do and the kids and husband that I have.

Jace was so excited to find chocolate in his stocking! He was more excited for that, than he was his toys!
Jace was so excited to to get a dry erase board. He loooves to draw! This is a picture of his "chicken hand".

My cute hubby.

And my two cute boys!

The only thing Jace wanted to get for Dustin for Christmas was a candy necklace. He later added the juicy drop pop sucker and was sooooo excited to give it to Dusitn. I took him to the store so many times to pick out something else, but he would get so upset about getting him anything other than the candy necklace. So, that's what we did. Merry Christmas Dustin!

I wish the morning could have lasted alot longer! What a fun day!!

Jace busting down the stairs.

Santa blocks off the stairway to the presents each year so that the boys can't go down and see their toys without coming and getting us first. It is so fun! This year, Santa booby trapped it with sleigh bells, so there was no way the boys could sneak underneath the ribbon.

Winter has arrived!

We finally ot snow, and the boys LOVED it! Last year Jace hated being cold and would cry every time we went outside, but this year is has been totally different, he loves it!! The first time he walked outside and took two steps into the snow, came back, took four steps into the snow, came back and then took off. He kept yelling "Footprints! Footprints!".
Jace loves to make snow angels! He loves to make any kind of angel. He dumps blocks out and makes 'block angels', or will scatter q-tips and make q-tip angels. Our front yard is now entirely covered in snow angels.
Sledding down the hill in our back yard, got alittle out of control. Dustin went too fast and busted through the fence.

Drey had fun climbing in and out of the hole while Dustin tried to repair it.

Jace loves to wear his hat over his eyes. I dont' have a clue how he sees where he is going.

Jace was so bundled up he had a hard time standing back up after each snow angel. All I could think about was the movie "Christmas Story" where the boyo in it cries "I can't put my arms down!" Jace looked just like him!

Before I Forget,

Ok, before I forget, I have to thank my parents for driving up here just to bring Jace his bed that was stored at their house! He loves not being in his "cage bed" (as he called it). It sure was nice taking that crib down. The bad thing is that he he can now get out of bed any time he wants. At three in the morning he is coming in our room asking if he can go watch cartoons. It is fun to see what a big boy he thinks he is though. Thanks mom and dad.
