1st Day of School

Here are some pic's of the fist day of school. Jace was SUPER excited to start pre-school! He loves wearing his bakpack around and thinking he is a big boy. It is so sad to see him getting so big so fast.

Here is Dreyton and Jace on Dreyton's first day of school. He started out wearing this outfit but had to change 1 minute before school started. Boys are gross. Within the 5 minutes he was wearing this shirt he had wiped dirty hands on it and wiped his mouth and boogers on it. Yuck!!

Same first day, different shirt. He was pretty nervous to go into the 1st grade, that explains the look on his face. Smiling for the picture in the middle of crying. He survived the first day though and now loves it. Well....loves having school lunch anyway. Thats his favorite subject!

Drey's Tonsils

Here are a couple of shots of Dreyton before and after he got his tonsils out. I was sooo proud of him! He was sooo brave, and such a trooper for having no food the entire day.

Before Surgery:
(he thought the comfy hospital clothes were awesome)
After:
(I hate looking at this picture, it is so sad)

Here is a pic of his nasty tonsils. He promised the Doc he would be good if the doc would save his tonsils for him to see afterwards. We were told to take a picture of it cuz Dreyton probably wouldn't remember seeing them. The Doctor said his tonsils and adnoids were the size of an adult mans. No wonder he couldnt' ever breathe!

Great Grandparents

My grandparents came to Salt Lake last month and met us over at Beckys house. We never get to see them so it was really nice to sit and visit. We only get to see them every 3 years or so. I hope that one day soon we can go visit them and I can introduce Dustin and the boys to the rest of my dads side of the family. They live so far away, it is hard to do.
My Aunt Karen came along too. It was so fun to see them!

July 24th

Getting ready for the Hinckley parade. The boys love doing the fun run in the morning so they can get their yearly Hinckley shirt.
My parents had the swimming pool out and ready when we got to Hinckley. I love that my dad always joins in the fun, whether its playing around in the pool, or wrestling with the boys in the hosue, he is always right in the middle of it.

The boys thought my dad was hilarious when he came outside to swim dressed liked this, plus, you cant see them, but he was wearing knee high socks. So funny!

July

I'm still trying to get all caught up. I don't think it will ever happen though. Oh well, I'll try.

Dustin was in Georgia for two weeks so I took the boys to Hinckley. My parents spoiled the boys rotten, as usual. They had SOOO much fun. My dad bought the boys a cowboy hat and took them to the rodeo.
Here is the three of them holding on to the hitching post (front fence)
They looooved it! I think they mostly loved just being with Grandpa and having 'guy time'.

We took the boys to Boondocks a couple of weeks ago to play miniature golf. It was soooo much fun! The boys had such a good time! We'll definitly go back as soon as possible. It was such a fun day with the fam!
Then the boys had to spend time in the arcade. I'm not much of a 'gamer' so I don't understand the fun in it, but oh well, we were there for the boys, not for me. Next time I think we'll do lazer tag!
Jace is trying to smile but he was freaked out by the tiki head guy behind us.

Brianhead (this is a long one)

Ever since I was little, my fam has been going to Brianhead ever summer, or every other summer. It is SOOO much fun and the one thing we look forward to each year. I don't know what I would do without my family. They are the best! We have so much fun together. The whole week is full of food, late late late night games (congrats to Mel for making it past phase 3 this year), food, kids activities, laughing, hiking and more food.
Brooklyn and Madison

Drey, Jace and Zach in their hut.

Dawn put together and Amazing Race game that was so fun for the kids! Here is Jace in Egypt getting wrapped like a mummy.

Jace was attacked by mosquitos. He looked like he had chicken pox, there were so many bumps on him. One day he woke up with a swollen face poor little kid.
My dad bought all the grandkids (plus Corey and Dustin) a nerf dart gun. It was a huge hit!
Dreyton and Zach were playing football when the ball bounced and hit Drey right in the face. He almost started crying till he realized it knocked his tooth out.
All the grandkids after the traditional treasure hunt. They LOVE it!
Finding more treasures
All the kids except Becky's, who had to leave early.
Most of the fam on our yearly hike. Layne and Becky's family had to leave before this picture
2 tough guys.

Showing off thier hats that they made.
Jace LOVED the idea of peeing outside. He wasn't shy about pulling his pants down wherever he was standing.
The girls hut that Corey built
The boys hut that Dustin built.
I wish we got a picture before the others left.
We had sooo much fun. I can't wait for next year!.

4th of July

This year we decided to spend the 4th of July in Grantsville instead of Delta. It was so different but also so nice. It was fun to see a different parade. The parade in Delta thows tons more candy, while the parade in Grantsville gave out more 'things', like balls, pens, frisbees, balloons, stuff like that. We were able to spend part of the day with Becky and her girls, which was fun too. We went to the parade with them, and then later had them over to play on the Bonzai. The best part of the parade though, was that we didn't have to watch 50 derby cars at the end...instead there were a ton of army trucks, which the boys thought was AWESOME!
Brooklyn was handed a balloon, which she looooved. She loved to look at herself in it. It was so cute.

Look how cute my hubby is!
