Animal Planet Expo

Two weekend ago we went to the Animal Planet Expo over at Liberty Park. It was pretty fun (for the boys anyway) but it was HOT!! Thank goodness for the little water park for the kids to play in and for us to wade in, it saved us!

I love this picture! It is so typical! It totally captures the boys' personalities. Jace is, as usual, teasing Dreyton by splashing water into his face, and Dreyton is just about to get ticked.
It didn't take Dreyton long to get even with Jace though. The difference is, Jace laughs it off or battles it out while Dreyton usually gets upset and cries about it.
Here is Jace keeping himself entertained during the Animal Expo. He just wanted to stay in his stroller and pull weird faces.

One of the HUGE bouncy houses that they had there. Everything there was free so we had to do everything about a million times. Ok, maybe not a million, but it sure felt like it when your standing there in that heat!!
Me and my little buddy Dreyton.
Dustin took this picture of us standing in line for one of the games. I thought it was cute, minus my butt, because Jace just wanted to put one arm around Dreyton and
one around my leg the whole time. It sure made it hard to move though, we had to take it an inch at a time. Here's the boys trying to win prizes. They came home with their prize bags pretty loaded up.
I don't know why Dreyto is pulling that face, but Jace insisted on standing right there, with the corner of the square sign jammed into the back of his head. He threw a big tantrum when I tried to get him to move.

2 Down, 2 To Go

Our newest addition to the family arrived last Tuesday. Layne and Kristi just had a little girl and named her Annika. They live in Vegas, so I haven't been able to see her in person yet, but I can't wait for when I do. In the next two months, we will be having two more babies join the family, one on the Rowley side and one on the Larsen. I can't wait!

My Cute Boys

Here is a picture of what I see every single morning. Fresh out of the bath, with towels wrapped around them, Dreyton and Jace huddle together getting warm and giggling at each other. They think that I can't find them, and we have to play our daily "Where are my boys?" game.

What cute little stinkers!

Dreyton's new 'do'

I never thought I would do it, but I gave in to all the pleading and shaved Dreyton's hair off. Dustin was in shock when he first saw it, but Dreyton looooves it! He is so excited to not have to comb his hair or put gel in it. I just hope it doesn't make his head look too big.

It's Over!!

After 2 sessions of swimming lessons, it is finally over!! Dreyton was in heaven the whole time and could probably go every single day. He is such a natural at swimming! I, however, am ready for it to be over with. By the end of four weeks I was all burned out from having to chase Jace around the whole pool, and trying to keep him entertained. I've got a few weeks for a break and then it is on to soccer!

4th of July

The night before the fouth, we had to pile the kids in Grandma and Grandpa's new tub to get them all ready for the morning. Here is a picture of Jace, Kamber, Paycen and Dreton.

Of course, the parade started with a fly over, which was awsome as usual, and then came the candy. The kids came home with soooo much candy. We love going to Delta for the fourth of July and hope that it can be a tradition that lasts a looong time.
Zach and Dreyton
Jace was mad about having to smile for the picture, so he faked crying instead. As soon as he heard the camera beep, he was back to his smiling self.
Abby and Megan.
Dreyton and Lafe.

My three cute boys.

My mom is always spoiling the grandkids with new toys. This year she bought the coolest teeter totter. It looks like an airplane and holds7 kids at a time. The kids LOVED it, especially Jace (as long as he was in the drivers seat).

Here are some action shots of the Bonzai slide. What would we do without the Bonzai on a ot fourth of July day! I think the adults love it more than the kids.

That night was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Rowleys house where we did sparklers and watched fireworks. They have a little motorized Jeep that Jace loves! When he is there, I think that he thinks he owns it.

Here are some shots of the "Great Grape Game" ( I think that is the name anyway). Pretty entertaining to watch, and it makes for some pretty funny pictures.

Time for sparklers!

Ready for the Weekend!!

I am soooo ready for this weekend. I know, I know, we just barely had a weekend, but for some reason the past three days have been especially draining. It started on Sunday with my primary class. I have a class of 10 kids, and 8 of them are WILD boys. They are all 5 and 6 years old. Usually they are great, but I don't know what got into all of them on Sunday. We had two extra boys in class that are twins, and the two of them make my wildest boy (the one that threatens Dustin with punching him in the nuts orthe face and barking when we talk to him) look like an angel. I came home from church frazzled and ready to call the bishop and tell him I quit the church if I have to go back again next week. Monday and today haven't been much better. The boys are extra obnoxious and fighting more than ever. I think the only time of day they don't fight is the hour that Dreyton is in swimming lessons, and that is because they aren't within arms reach of each other, but Jace sits on the side of the pool throwing threatening punches in Dreytons direction. I feel like I am growing a perma-scowl on my face because I am so frustrated and yelling all day long. Then Dreyton has been throwing these tantrums this week every time he gets told no. He screams his head off, and for any of you who have heard his scream, you know my pain! It is soooo loud and ear-piercing, like a dog whistle! AAAHHH!!
I think we are all ready for a weekend get-away. Dustin will be around Thursday and most of Wednsday to help referee, so that will be nice. I love having him work for the goverment, they love to have any excuse not to go to work. And since Thursday is the day BEFORE a holiday, they get it off. Nice!
Something exciting happened here over the week though. Jace actually wore something other than his "Murry Shoes"!! For him, that is a HUGE accomplishment! He is now open to wearing his "Anthony Shoes" (blue shoes). They look so much better than the pink ones. He is growing too fast and learing so many new things. I don't know where he picks up most of the stuff. The other day when I opened a door for him he said "Thank you young man."
Well, anyway, I am so excited to go to Delta this weekend and celebrate the 4th of July, hang out with family, see old friends, eat non-stop, play on the Bonzai slide, and just relax. This is the one time a year that both me and Dustin look forward to going to Delta. I love the parade and everything that goes on at the park. I also can't wait to get my hair colored! Thanks Cass!!
Anyway, Tooele is great, but it sure will be nice to get away for a weekend.
