My cute little monkey, and some pumpkins.

I dont' really love this time of year, only because it means that snow is coming, but I do love getting pumpkins with the boys. It is so fun to watch them pick their pumkins and then have them help me pick mine. The hay ride is fun, the family time is fun...everything is just fun.

I love the weather we had this year as we went to the pumpking patch. Usually we are bundled up in coats and gloves, this year it was shorts. My kind of weather! Love it!

Kyson LOVES sitting on dads shoulders. He plays the drums on his head and giggles the whole time.
Me and the boys waiting for a horse ride.

Look at my cute little monkey. He is such a sweetie! (most of the time)

He hated the hate, but still smiled through it.

The boys...

It's been a busy, BUSY summer. Football...football...football! We threw in some birthdays, a baptism, school, young men stuff, primary stuff, and life...but most of all, it has been football.

Here is Jace, giving it his all. He is so awesome! He may not be the tallest or the fastest kid on the team (he is the youngest), but he NEVER gives up and tries his hardest every single game. He never gets intimidated by the other kids and is so happy to do everything he is asked to do! He is so fun to watch!
Here is Dreyton, my little scout. He has been so excited to go to scouts. Everything is a competition to him, so he is trying to hard to earn as much badges as he can, as fast as he can.

Dust coaches both Dreyton team and Jaces team. One of the parents gave both him and the other coach some purple socks. Dustin and Nick think they bring the team good luck so they can't play a game without wearing them (even though I tease him that it looks like he is wearing tights). They have so much fun coaching together.

A boy and his dog...

Kyson LOVES our dog! He could sit outside all day with her! Ky loves to feed her bones, throw toys for her to fetch and pat her on her head. It is so cute to watch them.

Dreytons Baptism/Birthday---And way too many pictures.

Dreyton was so excited, he had his birthday and baptism day both on the same day. He was excited but nervous but he did great! I'm so proud of him! It was such a great day. We had a small, but really nice, family get-together afterwards. The weather was perfect and the cousins were all able to play on the bonzai while the adults sat and relaxed. Three generations. What a great picture.

My little family after the baptism.

The amazing cake that Melanie made. It was awesome! Thanks for all the hard work Mel. I appreciate it tons!

Time for FOOD!

Carter and Bethany enjoying the water from the outside.

Muscle Men

Birthday spankings from Grandpa.

Another pic of the amazing cake Melanie made. I felt guilty cutting into it....so I made Dustin do it. :)

Drey was embarrassed having everyone sing to him, that's why his head is in his shirt.
Little D doens't show emotion very often, but he couldn't hold back when he saw his new gun. He was soooo excited!

The amazing blanket that Camille made for Dreyton. It has his baptism day, baseball jersey number, and name on it.

His new scripture bag and scritures that he is so proud of.

Dustin's da' man!

So, it has taken 3 years of BEGGING and PLEADING, me drawing up plans, taking measuments many times, leaving reminders all over the house, and nothing was convincing Dustin of the great vision I had for our family room wall. Then I pulled out the best weapon a girl has....tears. My built-in was done in one week. Thanks Dust for all your hard work! Your amazing!

Here is what we had before. Blah. Boring. Hated it.

And it begins...

Jace helped me paint it. I am thankful that shelf will be covered by a door.

Almost done...

Yay!!! The final product!

I think he hated every second of this project. The words that were coming from that garage won't be written down on here. He said he would NEVER do another one again. I am hoping by the time we buy another house, he'll have forgotten about that though.

Bear Lake.....Again.

Just wanted to post a few more pic's of Bear Lake.
This top pictures of Dreyton and Jace is them riding on the train that take the kids around the campground. Notice that they are sitting faaaaar away from the girls next to them. i asked them why and they said "Cuz at the playground we told those girls that we only speak spanish, so we didn't want to get too close to them and have them hear us talking". I guess they didn't want to play with the girls earlier so they faked speaking spanish, the whole rest of the time they would speak jibberish and then laugh at each other. The girls would tell them to stop and they would so "Noooo....only spanish."
I love Ky's face in this pic. I like Dustin's too. He looks so ticked off.

My cute little J-man

More pictures of the cool bikes that the boys spent the evenings in. They zipped around everywhere! By bedtime they were exhausted.

I would put sunscreen on the boys every day and then they would go and play all day. By the end of every night this is what Dreyton's face looked like. It had a layer of white dirt. He looked like a zombie!

Bear Lake

So, we've never been to Bear Lake before and DESPERATLY need a getaway. So, we packed up our bags and headed to the KOA Campgound for the week. We stayed in a cabin, Dustin said it was smaller than a shed, but I kept telling everyone it was our 'luxury suite''. I made the boys stand in front of it to show you the 'massive' size. The boys were so confused why it didn't have a bathroom in it...but I told them it was all part of the adventure. Then they thought it was awesome and wanted to go as much as they could. We had SOOOO much fun up there. None of us wanted to come home, it was hard leaving. I LOVE our little family get togethers. The boys didn't fight once! Getting away is just a good reminder to them that they really do love each other. I think we'll make a yearly traditon.

They had teh funniest bikes that you could rent. The first night we got a 6 seater, but in this picture we got a bench seat that fit three and then shoved the Jace and Ky in the basket in the front. It was so fun cruising around town in it, picking up shakes and eating them as we pedaled (I should say, as DUSTIN peadaled.)
Every time we got a bike, this is how Ky reacted. He LOVED them!

Each night we rented the boys a banana bike. They would haul butt around the whole campground loving every minute of it. Each night they were completly exhausted.

We had to get a little mini-golf time in. The boys each had a list of things they thought we had to do, this was one of them. Lyckily we finished each of their lists by the last day.

We hiked to some amazingly beautiful springs in Paris Idaho. I'm scary without my makeup on, but I love the look on Ky's face. He looks pissed.

These natural springs were amazing! I've never seen anything like it. We are stangin right were the water pours out of the ground. 10 feet behind us is bone dry. The spring is raging out of a crack in the ground. It was so beautiful there.

Kyson's just happy he isn't in the water. He HATED being at the beach or pool.

We took a long torturous ride (for my neck anyway) to an ice cave. It was 90 degrees outside but when you duck into a crevass, it opens up in to a huge room full of ice. It is freezing in there...like being shoved in a freezer. Ky is scared of the sounds of water too, so the dripping noises made him nervous. Me, Ky and Jace hung out outside of the cave taking pictures of each other while Dust and Drey explored.

.
Another fun day at the beach. The weather was perfect! I love this picture and seeing the happiness on the boys' faces. Taking another bike ride. Ky is our bobblehead hood ornamant. He's looking back wondering what we were all laughing at.

Our 6-seater bike. The first time we rented one, we got chased buy a dog. Me and the two boys held out feet in the air and were screaming/laughing so hard. Dustin was pedaling as fast as he could go. I thought we were going to tip over on the turns. That dog was FAST! It nipped Dustins feet a couple of times. It was hilarious!!! I bet we looked so funny! The boys think it was the highlight of the trip! We laughed about it the rest of the week.

I love my little fam so much! It was so fun to spend time with them. No sports, no friends, no tv or internet...just us. Dustin is always so stessed at work so it was nice to have him relax for a bit. I can't wait to do it again next year!
