Jaces B-day

Ok, so Jaces birthday was back in April. But I'm still trying to get caught up on everything.
His birthday was so much fun. He was so excited about every single present he got. I love this age cuz you could by them anything and they are so happy!
I had to post a pic of the funny cake I made him. I am definilty not a cake decorator so go easy on me. I had no idea what to do for his cake this year, so I ended up just making a cake with his face on it (that is what it was supposed to be anyway).

Then to top it off I bought an Iron Man mask that he wanted and just put it on top of the cake. I think it turned out hilarious and couldn't stop laughing at it!
Here is Jace opening a present from Grandma and Grandpa Rowley that they sent to him. He was excited to get candy!!
My parents came up the day before the birthday to watch Dreyton play football, and to take Jace shopping for his birthday. The boys both LOVED it!!
Becky and her fam came over for Jaces b-day too.

Me and the birthday boy!
We always give the boys a choice of having a big friend birthday party or do something fun with the fam. Dreyton is always about the big freind parties (just for getting more presents) but Jace loves doing the family thing. So, we let him pick whatever he wanted to do. His first choice was to go to Las Vegs to visit his cousin Zach but we told him that was too far away, so his second choice was the Living Planet Aquarium. It was kind of cool, but I have to admit I thought it would be bigger. Oh well, the boys loved it (well, Dreyton did anyway).

Don't let that cute smile fool you. Jace cried almost the entire time we were there about wanting to leave, and then when we left, he cried cuz he wanted to stay. fun fun.

Just some projects

Just thought I'd post some pic's of my newest projects. The chairs aren't that new, but the table I just finished this week. Now I just need to put them up for sale so I have room for more projects. :)

Grizzlies

This year is the first year we've gone to a Utah Grizzlies game. I don'tknow why we haven't ever gone before, but it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We are definitly now fans of hockey! The atmosphere is so fun! I waited all night to get on the jumbotron and then with 10 minutes left of the game Jace had to go to the bathroom, so we hurried as fast as we could, and wouldn't you know it, the minute we left Dreyton and Dustin got on it!! Dang it!!!
We went with one of Dustins best friends, his kids and Dustin's boss (the guy with the goofy looking hat). His boss spoiled the boys rotten!!
Afterwards we decided to stay at a hotel instead of drive back home. The boys had so much fun! We found a hotel where the swimming pool was open 24 hours a day, so we let the boys swim till 11pm, then got up early and swam again.
I love this picture of Jaces face. I was trying to get a shot of Dreyton jumping into the pool and Jace shoved his face into the camera lens right as I took it.

Randomness...

After reading Gentrys blog, I was inspired to update my own. It has been fooooorever! Here is just a bunch of random pictures, and then I'll try to add more later.
Here is a pic of sweet little Asa. My neice who I have been babysitting for the past 3 months. She is such a good little baby and the boys love her soooooo much!
Just thought I'd throw this picture on here of Dustin coaching football. It's not much of an action shot, but I just think he is cute, so I added it. hee hee

My boys at the dentist...yes, I took my camera to the dentist. I just think Jace looks so cute and little.
My mom gave each of the grandkids a book to collect all 50 state quarters. She started them out with 8 quarters each and then on Easter she called around to each kid to find out which ones they needed and gave them two more. For the past year Dreyton has been working hard collecting them and with the last 2 Easter quarters he finally finished his. He is so proud, and thinks he is sooooo rich.

I had to put on a clip of football, since that is our life. Dreyton has had so much fun playing football, and Dustin has had tons of fun coaching it (well, mostly fun, it depends on the day you ask him). Dreyton is such a good little player and gets at least 2 touchdowns a game. It has been so much fun watching him. Now if I could just catch on to the rules. I'm slowly getting it. Anyway, I usually miss recording his touchdowns, but I finally got one that was close. He thought he was in the endzone, but stopped about 1 foot before it. Oh well, close enough in my eyes. :)

Alot Behind...but here is Easter

I am sooo far behind in blogging. Life has been so busy and I don't even know where to start! There has been sooo much happening. I hate to sit still so I try to keep myself and the boys busy with whatever I can find. We've been going to lots of Bees games, Grizzlies games, Dustin's softball, Dreytons wrestling, basketball, t-ball, football games and practices, and Dustin coaching t-ball and football. For a while we added Jaces gymanstics into the craziness, but he lost interest quick. Babysitting my cute little niece for the past 3 months and now there are swimming lessons coming up. I wasn't sure where to start with the pictures on here, so I'll start with Easter, since it was so fun.
We went home for Easter weekend like usual, and had so much fun. Every year we head to Oak City for their Easter egg hunt, and then head down to my parents house. My parents are soooo awesome and devote so much time and energy ihnto each grandchild. I think they know every like and dislike of each kid and there are 15 (i think) of them. Every year they plan an Easter egg hunt in their back yard and have TONS of eggs and surprises for each kid. They write the initials of each kid on like 30 or more eggs so when the kids are let loose in the backyard, they are only allowed to pick up the ones with their own initials on them. That way everyone gets the exact same amount. And then there is always the 'golden egg' that each kids gets with money in it. It is so much fun and the kids loooove it!!
Dawn and Madison. Me and Madison share the same crazy hair.
Decorating the eggs.

All the kids after they've found their loot. (We were missing some of the cousins this year but just cuz they weren't there doesn't mean they didn't get their stash of treats)

Jace finding the golden egg!

The Oak City egg hunt. Even with the cold weather and snow on the ground, I was glad they didn't have it inside this year.
I was so excited that Jace got more than one egg this year. Last year he picked up one, and announced he was done for the day. Dreyton can never get enough.

Trying not to freeze.
