It Came and Went....Way to Fast.

We had such a Great Christmas!! We've had some very memorable Christmas's in the past, but this one has to be one of the best! It wasn't because of the material 'things' either, it was just such a magical Christmas. Watching the boys was so much fun! I wish I could freeze them at the age they are at right now. I think this is the first time that I am sad to see the season end. I think we should have Christmas at least twice a year, just to remind us about what is most important. I am soooo blessed to have such a geat family. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have the life that I do and the kids and husband that I have.

Jace was so excited to find chocolate in his stocking! He was more excited for that, than he was his toys!
Jace was so excited to to get a dry erase board. He loooves to draw! This is a picture of his "chicken hand".

My cute hubby.

And my two cute boys!

The only thing Jace wanted to get for Dustin for Christmas was a candy necklace. He later added the juicy drop pop sucker and was sooooo excited to give it to Dusitn. I took him to the store so many times to pick out something else, but he would get so upset about getting him anything other than the candy necklace. So, that's what we did. Merry Christmas Dustin!

I wish the morning could have lasted alot longer! What a fun day!!

Jace busting down the stairs.

Santa blocks off the stairway to the presents each year so that the boys can't go down and see their toys without coming and getting us first. It is so fun! This year, Santa booby trapped it with sleigh bells, so there was no way the boys could sneak underneath the ribbon.

Winter has arrived!

We finally ot snow, and the boys LOVED it! Last year Jace hated being cold and would cry every time we went outside, but this year is has been totally different, he loves it!! The first time he walked outside and took two steps into the snow, came back, took four steps into the snow, came back and then took off. He kept yelling "Footprints! Footprints!".
Jace loves to make snow angels! He loves to make any kind of angel. He dumps blocks out and makes 'block angels', or will scatter q-tips and make q-tip angels. Our front yard is now entirely covered in snow angels.
Sledding down the hill in our back yard, got alittle out of control. Dustin went too fast and busted through the fence.

Drey had fun climbing in and out of the hole while Dustin tried to repair it.

Jace loves to wear his hat over his eyes. I dont' have a clue how he sees where he is going.

Jace was so bundled up he had a hard time standing back up after each snow angel. All I could think about was the movie "Christmas Story" where the boyo in it cries "I can't put my arms down!" Jace looked just like him!

Before I Forget,

Ok, before I forget, I have to thank my parents for driving up here just to bring Jace his bed that was stored at their house! He loves not being in his "cage bed" (as he called it). It sure was nice taking that crib down. The bad thing is that he he can now get out of bed any time he wants. At three in the morning he is coming in our room asking if he can go watch cartoons. It is fun to see what a big boy he thinks he is though. Thanks mom and dad.

Santa....again.

We went to visit Santa (for the third time) at the library. It was so fun. He sat and read the kids books and then talked to each one indivually. It made the line take a long time to move, but it was worth it.
I had to talk this picture of the boys standing in line. They very rarely hold hands, or show any affection at all towards each other, so I had to take a picture of this. As you can see, we couldn't find Jace's Red Sox hat, so he had to wear his hat on his shirt. Looks a little silly, but it is his comfort.

Look at my cute boys!

KNOCK OUT!

Jace picked up a new trick where he he can kick his face. It is the funniest thing to watch. His short little legs coming up and smacking his forhead. Anyway, Dreyton decided to try it and since he is alot taller, it didn't quite work. He kicked as hard as he could and ended up having his knee hit his forhead, knocking him silly. He came pretty close to knocking himself out! The sound was soooo loud. Boys...

Thanksgiving Update

I just thought I'd update my blog before Christmas. It has been awhile, so I'll probably have a ton of pictures. We went to Delta for Thanksgiving, and it was so fun. We ate at my parents house and had Melanies family, Becky's family and Katie and her boyfriend there. Corey and his family showed up the next day and my dad took all the kids to the park while the rest of us played games. Thanksgiving night we went over to Grandma Ridings, where Dreyton was introduced to the Wii. OOOOhhh booy! It's all we've heard about since! Even Jace got into the action and bowled a few frames. We ran into so many of our old friends that weekend. It was so fun!
Here is Jace. He loooves hats, especially his Boston Red Sox hat. Even when he goes outside with his winter hat, he has to put his Red Sox hat on top of it.

Dreyton LOVES grandma and grandpas new tub! He had a good time showing us his swim moves.

Katie and Paxton.

Me and my sistas'. It was fun to have us all together at the same time.
It doesn't happen to often.

Dreyton and his best buddy, Zach.
We couldn't leave Delta without the yearly visit with Santa. The boys were so excited. Jace was terrified the whole time we stood in line, but once he got up close he was so brave. He stared at him the whole time like a deer caught in headlights. I was so proud of him, though, for actually talking to him and telling him what he wanted (2 luke skywalkers and 2 obi wons). He sat in this postion, staring at Santa the whole time.
Dreyton was so excited! It even made it better when Santa showed up on a fire truck! He thought that was awesome!

I just got a Cd in the mail from Becky with some pic's on it of my boys. I forgot all about these pictures that she took this summer. Thanks for sending them Beck, I love them!!! After the night I had with these two, I needed to be reminded that they really are so dang cute! What cute little boys!

Thanks G & G Rowley

I just have to hurry and write a BIG thanks to my in-laws. Dreyton's favorite thing to do is to collect sticks. It can't be just any stick, it has to look special somehow (although to me, they all look the same). Anyway, D had been packing around one of his special sticks for days and even had to take it to Delta with us for Thanksgiving. He even slept with it next to him. Well, surprise, surprise, it somehow got lost (like most of his sticks do) and he was pretty upset about it. We looked everywhere in the house and couldn't find it. I just thought "Oh well, just one more stick that we don't have to keep track of." Well, one week later, Dreyton gets a package in the mail, and what do you know, it is his stick! Grandma and Grandpa found it and instead of throwing it out (which is what I would have done), they wrapped it up and sent it to him. How nice!! Thanks G & G Rowley!! I wish you could have seen the excitement on this kids face when he opened it up. He ran around the house and then outside screaming "My stick! My stick!". Here I am spending money on Christmas, when I all really need to do is just go gather a pile of sticks for him!
