We went exploring Black Rock (over by the Great Salt Lake) the other day. Don't really know much about the history, but you could tell there use to be a boardwalk and other stuff there. Not a whole lot to look at but it was still fun. Dustin and Dreyton wanted to climb to the top of the rock, which left me freaking out at the bottom. If I had the right shoes, I probably would have gone with them. Dustin said it wasn't too hard, but from my view it looked like they were going to fall any second. Another fun day with the fam! Love them!!

Rowley Family Pic's
Ok, so we got these pictures done last December, or November, or something like that. But since I sort of 'misplaced' my Cd that the pictures were on, I wasn't able to post them. If I was only a foot taller I would have noticed that the disc had been sitting on top of my fridge for the last couple of months. Maybe I should clean a little better from now on, then I would find everything else that was missing. Anyway, here are a few of the Rowley Family pic's that we got taken.

Hogle Zoo
We went to the Zoo the other day and it was so much fun! The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better day! We love to get out and spend time together as a family!
We go about twice a year, but this is the first time that we've been there when the animals were this active. It was so fun to see the bears jumping in the water. I think that was my favorite part. The boys always surprise me with what is their favorite thing. Dreyton liked the snow leopard (which was the only animal that was sleeping) and Jace liked the lame-o train ride. Oh well, it was tons of fun!
Engine 402
My parents came into town the other day and while we were driving around my dad saw an old Kenecott Enigine on display. We pulled over to check it out and it was one that my dad had actually worked on when he worked worked there. Crazy! Anyway, the boys thought it was pretty awesome to watch Grandpa climb up on it and show them how the thing works.

Disneyland
We just got back from a vacation to Disneyland, and it was alot of fun but our vacations never run smoothly. Thinking back to our other trips away from home we have had alot of adventures...car wrecks, broken bones, record bad weather, wrong flights, hospital stays, kidneys stones, and a bunch of other stuff. This vacation was no different, although it could have been worse. This vacation, we all left Tooele in perfect health, but by the time we got there, we were all sick. It started with Dustin who got cold chills, fever, body aches, and cough. I've never seen him like that before, the first night in the hotel room he was shaking so bad. It was so sad to see him like that. So, the next day, I took the kids to Disneyland by myself for awhile. Then, that night it was my turn to get sick with the same fever and chills, so the next day Dustin took the kids to Disney by himself for most of the day. The third day, both the boys were getting sick and had been up with a fever all night so the next day at Disneyland was hard for them to have fun. We did have some nice people hand us some extra tickets though, so we thought we were going to be able to go to Disneyland for a fourth day. Well, that was the day that Jace was the worst. He was soooo sick. The whole time we were there he spent curled up into a ball in the stroller crying and begging us to take him home. It broke my heart! His temp. ended up getting so hot that we bagged Disneyland and took him to a insta-care clinic to have a doc look at him. So, after the visit with the doc, getting meds, and packing up, we called it the end of our vacation and took off. We stayed in Primm that night at a $5 hotel....yes, that is right...$5! I was pretty nervous to stay there, but once we got there, the hotel was old, but very very clean! I would totally stay there again, especially for $5. While we were at Disneyland, we hung out with Corey and Dawn and their kids a little bit. They were there on vacation too, so that was fun. And Dustin even got to ride on a ride with Linsey Lohan and her girlfriend. Although, he had no idea he was on a ride with her till someone came up to us afterwards and told us. Funny though. As much as I loved Disneyland, I think that the beach was my favorite. I wish we could have gone there one more time before we left. Oh well, next time. The funny thing about our trip though, was that while Corey and Dawn was off riding all the fun rides with their kids, like Screamin, Tower of Terror and stuff like that, we were with our little daredevil kids riding Dumbo, teacups and 'It's a small world" . Dreyton was actually a little afraid of Dumbo. Yes, I have very brave kids. Jace thought "its a small world" was a thrill ride and stood up the whole time screaming "WOOHOO!! THIS IS FUN!".
I had to post a picture of Jaces sad little face. This is the day he was sick. I had him wrapped in my jacket and his cuz he was so cold. He had to see Little Einsteins one last time before we left.
Another sad picture, this is the day that Jace curled up into a ball and was pleading to take him home. So sad.
My big thrill seekers on the Merry-go-Round. WooHoo!
Meeting up with The Larsen fam.
A picture of Dustin, Corey and Megan on Screamin. I love Megans face in this picture.
I love Jaces face in this picture. This was his favorite ride. I lost count of how many times we had to ride it. Thankfully the line was never long.
Ready for our Midway Mania ride. The boys loved this one too!
Cruella Deville pulled Dustin out of the crowd, dressed him up and made him dance with her. It was so freakin hilarious!
Dreyton was sooooo excited for the Jedi Academy! He was convinced that Luke Skywalker would come down and ask him to go to another galaxy with him. Dreyton got called up on stage to 'learn the ways of the Jedi'. He was so excited and took if very seriously. Then as soon as Darth Vadar came out he started screaming like a high-pitched girl, stretched out his arms and ran down the stage screaming "Mommy! Mommy!" . Yes, more proof that I have very brave kids.

At the Beach
The first day we got to California we went to visit Jaren and Suz and went to the beach. The weather was perfect!! They are so lucky to live so close to the beach! I wish we could have stayed and visited longer with them, but it was fun seeing them for the time that we did.
You can't tell in this picture, but me and Suz kept trying to get the birds to eat food off of Dustin's head. So we kept putting cheetos and sandwiches on his hat. They ate it out of his hand but not off of his head. Jaren was throwing cheetos at Dustin to lure the birds in closer. It was so funny.
